Information on what people give is known only to our joint Gift Aid Secretaries and is not divulged to any-one else, including the clergy.
At all our services where a Collection is taken you will find white Gift Aid envelopes and pens.
In St. James’, Shere they’re on each pew shelf or if we’re using chairs, on the seat. In St. Mark’s, Peaslake they’re at the end of each pew. If you can’t find one please ask a sidesmen for one.
If you pay UK tax and are able to put your contribution in one of these envelopes and complete the boxes printed on it, this will add 25% to the value of whatever you feel able to give.
If you are minded to support the church in this place with regular contributions and would like to use either our Weekly Planned Giving Envelopes or set up a Standing Order with your bank we would be very grateful.

Weekly Planned Giving Envelopes – please ring Patrick Nelson, our primary Gift Aid Secretary, on 01483 202654, who will arrange for you to have a set. He will also provide you with a Gift Aid Declaration which you are asked to complete and return to him if you are in a position to do so.
Standing Order Forms for both new & revised Standing Orders, each complete with a Gift Aid Declaration are available to download and you may print them off on A4 paper. Hopefully they’re self explanatory but if you need advice or assistance, Patrick Nelson, our primary Gift Aid Secretary, may be contacted on 01483 202654.
If you bank on-line and set up your own Standing Order, please still complete & return the forms for our records but clearly mark them ‘On-line banking’.
